Hospital Operations Lead

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hospital operations and supporting clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic guidance across the hospital to drive optimal performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate clinical and operational risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Support: Foster a culture of collaboration and mentorship among staff, including onboarding new employees.
  • Representation: Serve as the senior representative on-site, providing leadership and direction when required.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure that resources are optimally allocated to support patient care and business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Champion effective communication and teamwork among staff to achieve common goals.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • AHPRA Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Nursing Experience: At least five years' recent experience in a large, acute private hospital as a Registered Nurse.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience as a leader or manager in nursing, with a track record of success.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship development skills.
  • Performance Management: Demonstrated skills and confidence in performance management, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Workload Prioritization: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritize workloads.
  • Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage human and material resources within budget constraints.
