Evening Warehouse Manager

This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be physically fit, and have experience in inventory management.
About the Role:
The Afternoon Shift Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising and controlling all work activities related to receiving, replenishing, assembling, loading, and delivering products. This includes maintaining equipment, managing teams, and implementing safe working procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment service and maintenance schedules
- Court players in injury prevention programs
- Coach and mentor staff members as required
- Control and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage and overtime
- Liaise with Operations Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changes
- Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to
Requirements:
- Forklift license (essential)
- Proven experience in warehousing and distribution management and inventory control
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Ability to manage rosters and resources within budget constraints
- Understanding of HACCP, WHS and HR
- Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team
