The role of Grant Coordinator (Post Award) is a crucial part in our office, and we are seeking a highly organized professional to join us.

About the Position

This position involves administering and overseeing post-award grant activities in alignment with institutional policies, contract terms, and funding regulations. It also includes monitoring budgets and expenditures to ensure accurate financial reporting and fund usage.

We require an individual who can prepare and review financial and progress reports, ensuring timely submission to funding agencies. This person should also be able to support researchers and stakeholders across all stages of post-award grant and consultancy management.

Maintaining audit readiness and contributing to the overall compliance framework of the research portfolio are also essential responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer and oversee post-award grant activities in alignment with institutional policies, contract terms, and funding regulations.
  2. Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure accurate financial reporting and fund usage.
  3. Prepare and review financial and progress reports, ensuring timely submission to funding agencies.
  4. Support researchers and stakeholders across all stages of post-award grant and consultancy management.
  5. Maintain audit readiness and contribute to the overall compliance framework of the research portfolio.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant area or demonstrated equivalent combination of relevant experience in a complex organization and education/training.

You should have a solid understanding of research reporting requirements and demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with policies, external funding guidelines, and contractual agreements.

An understanding of research funding opportunities, schemes, and research funding trends is also essential.

You will need to demonstrate sound analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise judgment and meet strict deadlines.

A proven ability to navigate and manage grant processes, including providing administrative support and advice on relevant matters, is required.

Strong interpersonal, oral, IT and written communication skills and proven ability to work as an effective team member are necessary for success in this role.
