Operations Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead our team of drivers in the Illawarra region. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of waste services.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of supervisory experience in an operational or logistical role, with a thorough knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Strong organisational skills, safety values, and people management expertise are essential for success in this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Supervise the site team to achieve required objectives.
  • Operational Planning: Organise trucks, contractors, rosters, and labour hire to ensure efficient allocation of work.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, drivers, and sub-contractors to drive successful outcomes.
  • Maintenance Support: Ensure the maintenance requirements of the fleet are met.
  • Data Management: Collect and manage operational data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • A current license and proof of entitlement to work in Australia.
  • A willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug test.
