About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our Sydney-based team. As a key member of our digital commerce team, you will be responsible for managing our online sales platform, enhancing the customer journey, and implementing strategies to grow sales and boost engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including product management, pricing, content updates, and promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with marketing to brainstorm and implement new website features.
  • Use tools like Trello and Figma to brief UX improvements and work with developers on testing and deploying changes.
  • Focus on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to improve user flow and drive sales.
  • Monitor site performance metrics to ensure fast load times and accessibility across devices.
  • Manage website campaigns, promotions, and regular updates.
  • Supervise the offshore customer support team via Gorgias and provide escalation support as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally within retail, beauty, or fashion industries.
  • Strong proficiency in managing Shopify stores.
  • Familiarity with Gorgias is a plus.
  • Eye for detail and a good sense of design.
  • Experience creating wireframes using Figma.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge of SEO and tools like SEMRush.
  • Basic graphic design skills for resizing and editing images.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms.
