At our North Bowen Basin site, we are seeking an experienced MPU Operator to deliver quality products while ensuring safe and efficient operations. The role involves operating Open Cut MPUs to manufacture explosives, collaborating with on-site teams to meet service requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Safe and efficient operation of MPUs
  • Delivery of emulsion-based explosives in accordance with contracted services

Maintenance and administrative tasks also play a vital role in this position, including:

  • Basic maintenance on all on-site equipment
  • Accurate completion of required paperwork

Successful candidates will demonstrate operational experience as a qualified MPU Operator or equivalent equipment operation skills. Essential qualifications include:

  • Qld HR Driver's License (Essential)
  • Open or B Condition Standard 11 Qld Security Clearance Card

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Forklift (HRWL) Licence
  • RII Qualification in Mobile Mixing Explosives/RII Support Shotfirer
