About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to join our team at Render Networks. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of our API and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our API and integration solutions to ensure they are robust, scalable, and secure.
  • Work with a modern API and Python tech stack to build new features into existing products.
  • Mentor, coach, and lead a team of software engineers.
  • Facilitate and lead technical meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Present technical information to non-technical senior executives.
  • Document and share corporate knowledge across the team and business.
  • Assess API and integration skill and knowledge gaps within the team and business.
Requirements
  • Expertise in backend software development, including public-facing API products.
  • Experience using AWS (preferred) or other cloud providers.
  • Advanced in Python, and the ecosystem that surround it.
  • Expertise in Restful API design and management.
  • Exposure and knowledge of SQL, advanced database design, with a strong understanding of optimisation and performance best practices.
  • Ability to gather and document tech requirements and specs.
  • Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and building pipelines.
