**Make a meaningful impact as a Specialist III, Engineer**


As part of IAG, one of the largest insurance groups in Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for an experienced engineer to join our API enablement team.

**Your Role**

This dynamic team and role is part of our technology division, creating market differentiation through deployment of resilient, innovative technology and contemporary methods, at scale.

You will play a pivotal role in a time of significant technology change within our business. We are looking for an experienced Engineer to support our API enablement team to efficiently create, build, test, and deploy software, enabling Continuous Integration practices and leading the way with automation of deployment pipelines.

With strong stakeholder management skills, you will lead and train delivery teams to implement instrumentation of application and infrastructure to obtain quality and performance insights, including in-depth diagnosis and tuning of services.

**Key Skills and Experience**

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills and experience in API Gateway Administration, API Gateway Development, API Governance, API First Principles, Open API Specification, and programming frameworks such as Node.js, React, Springboot.

Experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration tools, and technologies, including Docker, AWS Pipeline, and Bamboo, would be beneficial.
