We are looking for a dedicated Contract Logistics Operational Contract Manager to enhance operational and customer excellence in our growing Contract Logistics Team.
Your Role
As a Contract Logistics Operational Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, achieving key performance indicators, and ensuring team delivery against customer, site, and people key performance indicators.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, organize, staff, and direct warehouse activities to ensure all material and equipment are available and maintained.
- Achieve key performance indicators in cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.
- Ensure teams deliver against customer, site, and people key performance indicators.
- Assist with customer on-boarding, retention, and operational excellence, collaborating at a contract level.
- Drive productivity through engagement activities and create new initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Contribute information required for tenders and proposals to support closing of new business.
- Prepare and present customer updates.
- Prepare profit and loss statements with supporting commentary related to financial and service variances.
- Train and develop teams to ensure robust succession planning.
- Liaise with internal support resources and external providers.
Your Skills and Experiences
- A minimum of five years' experience in a local transport or 3PL organization.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Solid understanding of safety processes and protocols.
