Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Logistics Operational Contract Manager to join our growing team.

As a Contract Logistics Operational Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring all material and equipment are available and maintained to support operations.

You will achieve key performance indicators in areas of cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, organize, staff, and direct warehouse activities to ensure all material and equipment are available and maintained.
  • Achieve key performance indicators in areas of cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.
  • Ensure teams deliver against customer, site, and people key performance indicators.
  • Assist with customer on-boarding, retention, and operational excellence, collaborating at a contract level.
  • Drive productivity through engagement activities, creating new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Contribute information required for tenders and proposals to support closing of new business.
  • Prepare and present customer updates.
  • Prepare required P+L with supporting commentary related to financial and service variances.
  • Train and develop teams to ensure robust succession planning.
  • Liaise with internal support resources and external providers.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a local transport or 3PL organization.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Solid understanding of safety processes and protocols.
