Opportunity to Empower Individuals with Disabilities

As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and increase their independence and participation within the community.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, providing support with daily living activities, such as toileting, showering and dressing, light domestic duties, meal preparation, and medication administration.
You will also have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development programs, promoting professional growth and career advancement within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Providing support to individuals with disabilities and/or psychosocial needs
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care and domestic duties
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Liaising with families and representatives of clients as required
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)
- Proof of working rights - Passport or visa
- Valid West Australian driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Working With Children Check issued in Western Australia
- Previous experience as a support worker in the health/disability sector or a relevant Cert III qualification is highly desirable but not essential
