Are you a compassionate individual who enjoys engaging with others? This volunteer opportunity is perfect for someone who values building relationships and making a positive impact.

Our program focuses on providing regular social visits to those who may be feeling lonely or isolated. By dedicating time to chat, share stories, and enjoy each other's company, you can bring happiness and improve the quality of life for older people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit a thoughtful elderly lady on a weekly or fortnightly basis
  • Engage in conversation, share stories, and enjoy each other's company over a cuppa and cake
  • Build a meaningful relationship and make a positive impact on her life

Requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
  • Working with Vulnerable People check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday.
