Position Overview
Business Director - Full-time, OngoingCatholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Business Director to join our team. The Business Director is a key member of the College leadership team, responsible for managing the College's finances and resources. The successful applicant should have a strong background in corporate or educational finance and experience in managing budgets. This is an ongoing full-time position. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee the school's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources to support the school's strategic goals and educational programs.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. Manage risk and implement best practices in governance and operations.
HR Management: Oversee the administration of staff, including contracts, leave, and rural incentives.
Facilities Management: Manage the maintenance and development of school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with school leadership, staff, parents, and the community to support the school's mission and vision. Selection Criteria
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in relevant financial and administrative software.
Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills.
Demonstrated high level of written and oral presentation skills. Qualifications Required
Post graduate qualifications, such as CPA, CA or MBA qualifications.
Current Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
