Job Title:

The Engineering Manager is a senior leadership position that oversees the team responsible for developing and implementing feature flagging and progressive delivery solutions.

  • Guiding technical direction and elevating engineering standards to drive product innovation.
  • Defining and evolving strategy in conjunction with other teams to meet business objectives.
  • Owning technical roadmaps and deliveries for rollout and flags infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with engineering leaders to promote safe deployment patterns.

This role requires strong technical expertise in feature flagging, rollout systems, or developer platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering teams across both frontend and backend infrastructure and be comfortable coaching engineers across the stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading Feature Control team to deliver product innovation with precision and safety.
• Defining and evolving strategy of Feature Control platform in conjunction with other teams.
• Owning technical roadmap and delivery for Canva's rollout and flags infrastructure.
• Collaborating with engineering leaders to promote safe deployment patterns across Canva.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering teams across both frontend and backend infrastructure and be comfortable coaching engineers across the stack. Strong technical expertise in feature flagging, rollout systems, or developer platforms is required.
