  • As a key member of our Product Insights Enablement team, you will lead the development and implementation of our internal feature flagging and progressive delivery platform.

  • Define and evolve the technical strategy for our Feature Control platform, ensuring seamless integration with related services.
  • Partner with data and product leaders to embed measurement into launches, driving data-informed decision making.
  • Own the technical roadmap and delivery for Canva's rollout and flags infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to promote safe deployment patterns across Canva.
  • Advocate for and implement observability and health monitoring across rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with other platform teams to integrate safely into Canva's stack.

  • Have led engineering teams across both frontend and backend infrastructure.
  • Bring deep technical expertise in feature flagging, rollout systems, or developer platforms.
  • Are comfortable coaching engineers across the stack and guiding architectural decisions that scale.
  • Have experience with modern, polyglot environments—at Canva, we primarily use Java, Go, TypeScript, GraphQL and, AWS.
  • Love mentoring and have a track record of helping people grow and thrive.
  • Think like a product partner, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impact.
  • Communicate clearly—whether unpacking technical decisions or aligning stakeholders.
  • Thrive in ambiguity, set clear direction, and bring others along on the journey.
