Design & Planning Expert

You will be integral to the Engineering team, focusing on designing and optimizing advanced IP technology networks.

Your role is vital in shaping innovative communications solutions for clients across critical industries such as Rail, Mining, and Power.

Collaborating with project managers and technical teams, you'll conduct in-depth network analyses, create technical documentation, and engage with customers to influence their strategic networking decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze advanced network configurations to meet diverse client communication needs and performance standards.
  • Conduct end-to-end network architecture design, including capacity assessments, feasibility studies, and impact analyses.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation for operational consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and ensure compliance with performance criteria.
  • Engage with customers to provide expert advice on network architecture and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in network operations.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives and professional growth.
  • Support project reviews and develop corrective action plans for technical issues arising during project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with 5-8 years of experience in telecom industry focused on IP technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP Routing portfolio and solutions.Nokia SRA / SRC track training and experience desirable.
  • Proven expertise in designing networking solutions for Critical Infrastructure customers.
  • Strong understanding of IP/MPLS Networks, Segment Routing, and Data Center solutions.
  • Ability to generate technical documentation, including TSD, HLD, and LLD.
