Education Leader for Debating Programs

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Education Leader to join our team as a Casual Debating Coach at Canberra Grammar School. As a Debating Coach, you will be responsible for instructing students on fundamental debating skills and fostering their development in a fun, inclusive, and safe environment.
The role involves providing guidance to students on preparing debates, critical thinking, researching current topic areas, public speaking, and presentation skills. You will plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions that cater to various levels of abilities across different age groups.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and individuals, excellent communication skills, and experience in debating and/or public speaking.
You should have a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card and two professional references. All team members at CGS require appropriate qualifications, a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card, a current National Police Check, and full working rights within Australia.
