About the RoleWe are seeking a highly autonomous and motivated individual to manage our service agreement with the NSW Government, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising GIVIT's profile in NSW, building relationships with government agencies, charities, and corporate donors, and driving and securing donations and funding to meet disaster recovery and ongoing day-to-day charity needs.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with state and local government, recovery agencies, charity networks, and corporate donors.
- Excellent communication with charities and community organizations across NSW to build their capacity to meet the needs of their clients.
- Be a GIVIT portal platform expert to ensure efficient donation flow, including training and education to our charity and community partners.
- Lead GIVIT's small NSW team.
- Ensure all agreed service level agreements, including key performance measures and reporting obligations, are met.
- Act as media spokesperson, as required, and represent GIVIT in various settings, including media opportunities, public forums, events, and conferences.
- Key stakeholder relations are your thing. You love navigating your way within state and local governments, recovery agencies, charities, corporates, and local communities, forming long-term collaborative and effective partnerships.
- Exceptional administration and reporting skills, with a focus on outstanding, accurate admin and timely reports.
- Proven capacity in planning, implementing, reviewing, and achieving goals and objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced and rapidly changing work environments.
- Ideal candidates will have tertiary qualifications and/or experience in Emergency Management (Recovery), Business, or a related discipline.
- Due to travel requirements, candidates must have a current and valid driver's license and their own vehicle.
- Permanent full-time role based in NSW City or Regional or Rural.
- Regular travel across NSW and to HQ in Brisbane.
