Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a team of junior accountants and providing expert advice to clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of 2-3 juniors and overseeing their work.
  • Leading the client engagement process and providing expert advice on complex financial statements and tax returns.
  • Managing tasks such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, management accounting, and succession planning.
  • Working closely with a wide range of clients and conducting in-person or virtual meetings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed CA/CPA near completion or qualification.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience within public practice.
  • Australian or New Zealand permanent resident.
  • Excellent communication skills and technologically adept.
