Seeking Lifeguard for Aquatic Centre PositionWe are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at the aquatic centre.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for pool surveillance, providing first aid when needed, and ensuring customer satisfaction with excellent service.
  • This role involves dealing with challenging situations in a professional manner and working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • A key aspect of this job is the ability to work effectively within a team, communicate clearly, and maintain good organisational skills.
Key Requirements:
  • A Royal Lifesaving Society Pool Lifeguard Award or equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
  • Provide First Aid Award certification is also necessary.
  • A National Police Clearance is mandatory.
  • Working with Children Check is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will possess good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekdays and weekends.
  • Shifts may start as early as 5:30am and go late into the evening, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Prior experience working school hours is highly beneficial but not essential.
