Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nursing Professional

The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 34-bed unit with 22 ICU funded beds and 12 lower dependency beds. The role of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nursing Professional is to provide patient-centered and evidence-informed nursing care to promote improved neonatal health outcomes.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nursing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and an understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates and their families
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in educational workshops and training programs to develop skills and knowledge
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
- Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication
