About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Relief Secondary Teacher to join our team at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa. As a Relief Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational experiences for our students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Teach a range of subjects to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and improve student outcomes
  • Support the development of students' academic, social, and emotional well-being

Requirements



  • Appropriate tertiary qualification and registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for students
  • Ability to work positively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive learning environment
