Strategic Risk Management Lead

This role plays a pivotal part in protecting and enhancing our reputation, data, finances, and people.

  • Lead the organisation's risk management strategy to drive enterprise-wide practices and embed risk management into business operations.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies that enhance risk maturity at strategic, operational, and project levels.
  • Owning the enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, providing expert advice and leadership to the business, Board, and Committees.

Responsibilities:
  • Embed risk management practices across the organisation.
  • Develop and deliver long-term strategies for risk maturity at all levels.
  • Own the enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice and leadership to the business, Board, and Committees.
  • Guide reporting and analytics on risk, including developing key risk indicators.
  • Promote a positive risk culture through training, tools, and leadership.
  • Support project and functional leaders to embed risk and compliance practices.
Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of risk management in the Australian corporate environment, particularly in a not-for-profit or charitable setting. Extensive experience in delivering presentations, implementing risk management frameworks, and analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are also essential.
