The Role

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering multiple fit-out projects from the head office, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Source and engage trades and sub-contractors to meet project requirements.
  • Clients and Subcontractor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Project Administration: Manage RFIs, progress claims, variations, and EOT submissions to maintain project efficiency.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, prepare tender packages, scopes of works, contract documentation, and procurement schedules.
  • Financial Management: Report costing, manage cash flow, negotiate payment terms with suppliers, and control overall project expenditure.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in new build projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ideal experience as a Contracts Administrator under a head contractor in Australia (3+ years).
  • Working knowledge of tendering, developing, and letting trade packages, cost forecasting, reporting, and negotiating subcontract tenders.
