Flight Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Nurse to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a Flight Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary response, intensive care, midwifery, and trauma services as part of our high-performance aeromedical team in regional, rural, and remote areas of South Australia and the Northern Territory.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals, pilots, and operational employees to provide high-quality healthcare in a remote environment.
- Be at the forefront of aeromedical health services, providing emergency retrievals and delivering outstanding patient care in a diverse and fulfilling environment.
- You are a healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality nursing and midwifery care.
- You are professional in your approach to service delivery and willing to work collaboratively with others.
- You have a great sense of adventure and are willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with a postgraduate qualification in Emergency or Intensive Care Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in a tertiary hospital.
- Previous experience in rural and remote area environments is desirable but not essential.
