Job Title: Lead Vascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This pivotal leadership position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular imaging services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the vascular laboratory service, including staff rostering and supervision, staff training and mentoring, equipment procurement and maintenance, and liaison with hospital management to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals.

This role requires a professional who is both clinically proficient and an empowering leader with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and team performance.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or another relevant health qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound with extensive hands-on experience in vascular examinations
  • Current ASAR accreditation (Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry)

Applicants who do not hold AHPRA registration will be appointed and remunerated at the Cardiac Technologist classification level.
