Job Overview

The Medical Director of Vascular Imaging Services is a senior leadership position responsible for delivering high-quality clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular imaging services. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the team and ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform complex vascular ultrasound examinations to support accurate diagnosis and optimal patient management.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the vascular laboratory service, including staff rostering and supervision, staff training and mentoring, equipment procurement and maintenance, and liaison with hospital management to align with strategic and operational goals.
Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or a related field with extensive experience in vascular imaging.
  • Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound with extensive hands-on experience in vascular examinations.
  • Current accreditation in vascular ultrasound.
