Prison Mental Health Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team in the prison environment.
The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, and possess experience working within a hospital or primary care setting.
- Delivery of routine clinics within the health centre and residential prison halls, in collaboration with the wider health team and Scottish Prison Service.
- Must have experience of working within a hospital or primary care environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in an MDT environment, handling challenging situations effectively.
- The role involves shift-based work, 10.5-hour day shifts, Monday to Sunday, with no night shifts.
