The role of a Concrete Batcher/Agi Driver offers a unique opportunity to work in the construction industry with excellent career development potential. This position involves overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant, operating a front-end loader (FEL), and interacting with customers to take orders and schedule deliveries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a front-end loader (FEL)
  • Regularly interacting with customers
  • Working in a high performing team to deliver positive outcomes for our company and customers
  • Able to demonstrate safety and show leadership potential
  • Ensuring all products adhere to strict quality requirements
  • Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required
  • Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling
  • Delivering concrete to customers

This role is a great fit for individuals who are effective communicators, have a team mentality, and can work unsupervised. The ideal candidate will also have a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtime.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, plus penalties, and superannuation. Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday, generally 6:00/7:00am – 3:30/4:00pm, with rostered half day Saturdays. We also provide opportunities for training and development, including a 10-day training program on how to operate the agitator and slump concrete.
