Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced locomotive driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for operating locomotives on mainline, shunting, and marshalling duties. This role requires a strong focus on safety and operational standards, as well as excellent communication skills to provide high-quality customer service.
About the Role:
- Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting and marshalling.
- Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
- Work in accordance with strict safety and operational standards.
- Maintain a high level of on-time running.
- Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster.
- Experience in heavy haulage locomotive driving is essential.
- A certificate IV in Rail Operations is highly desirable.
- Current unrestricted Class C drivers license is required.
