We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Designer to join our team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will design, implement and maintain electrical systems for industrial applications. This role involves working on a wide range of projects, from concept development to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed designs for electrical systems, including Single Line Diagrams, Motor Control Schematics/specifications and control panel layout & design.
  • Select and specify suitable technology for projects, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
  • Create technical reports and presentations to project stakeholders, review and prepare detailed specifications and procurement documents for major electrical equipment.
  • Contribute to the installation and commissioning of electrical work packages for specific capital projects.
Requirements
  • An electrical engineering background with an engineering degree is essential, along with experience developing engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industrial experience in safety systems, safe work documentation, contractor supervision, equipment commissioning, project close out, etc.
  • Knowledge of various industrial communication protocols and experience reading, designing or troubleshooting P&ID and electrical diagrams is desirable.
