Purpose of the Role:
The functions of the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are unique, being the only entity in Australia that delivers high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services through a single agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a team, prioritizing the safety of individuals and properties.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by participating in community education activities and contributing to the development of competencies in regular drills and training courses provided by the QFES.
- Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training, adhering to organisational health principles and procedures.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively, ensuring maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
- Contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
Capabilities:
To be successful in this role, you will be assessed on leadership and management behavioural competencies, including Performance through Vision, Performance through Results, and Performance through Accountability.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
