About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Firefighting Operations Specialist to join our team at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about firefighting and emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a member of our team, you will respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner.
  • You will promote community safety and emergency preparedness by contributing to community education activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by QFES.
  • Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements

  • You must be eligible to apply for or hold a current Blue Card.
  • You should have a manual C Class driver's licence.
  • You must live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status is essential.

Estimate Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
