Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer with our team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of mechanical systems. You will work collaboratively with other engineers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

You will be responsible for creating technical documentation, including solid models, layouts, detail drawings, and bill of materials. You will also perform design verification and mechanical qualification testing, as well as optimize mechanical structures through finite element analysis.

Additionally, you will complete production release of new product designs for product introduction, participate in corrective action plans for mechanical systems, and provide technical support and consultation as required.

  • Documentation:
  • Creating technical documentation, including solid models, layouts, detail drawings, and bill of materials
  • Design Verification:
  • Performing design verification and mechanical qualification testing
  • Optimization:
  • Optimizing mechanical structures through finite element analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong commitment to quality, persistence, inquisitiveness, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Experience:
  • Demonstrable professional experience as a mechanical engineer relevant to your level
  • Technical Skills:
  • 3D CAD modeling package experience (e.g. ProEngineer/Creo)
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a global team
