Principal Civil Engineer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing civil team and take on a leadership role in the design of roads and highways. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and direction to your team, helping them deliver efficient, safe, and innovative solutions to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in consulting environments. They will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and have a passion for helping people develop their careers.

The role will involve providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers, managing projects from conception to completion, and working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to junior engineers
  • Manage projects from conception to completion
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project delivery and efficiency
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Professional engineer (CPEng) or engineering technologist qualification
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with experience in consulting environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for helping people develop their careers
