Leading Road Designer

A prestigious career opportunity has arisen for a Principal Road Designer to join our national civil infrastructure business units.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of road design components, ensuring timely completion within agreed budgets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical road design issues.
- Mentor and coach a road design project team, fostering the growth and development of their capabilities.
- Assist in determining resources required for project planning, including elements suitable for outsourcing.
- Maintain accurate and clear project documents, adhering to best practices and quality standards.
- Ensure effective communication with project managers, team leaders, and clients regarding project matters.
- Comply with national design standards and Arcadis' design guidelines.
We seek individuals who share our passion for delivering innovative solutions. Ideal candidates possess:
- A degree or qualification relevant to Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads software.
- Significant experience in a project delivery environment, particularly roads and highways design.
- Familiarity with Austroads Guide to Road Design and local authority CADD standards.
