About MRPV

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is delivering a significant investment in the state's roads. We are working on major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, improving the roads relied upon daily.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will provide Melbourne with a second freeway link between the west and the city, offering an alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a second river crossing.

North East Link will complete Melbourne's freeway network with 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We are also upgrading the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Our Road Programs include new roads, bridges, widening projects, and major freeway upgrades.

  • Driving initiatives that increase social procurement of goods and services within MRPV.
  • Providing strategic guidance and influencing industry and government targets as a subject matter expert.
  • Building strong stakeholder partnerships, including with social enterprises, project teams, and government agencies.
  • Leading cultural change by raising awareness of social procurement, inclusion, and capability.
  • Managing a small team through clear direction, support, and fostering professional growth.

The Project Manager, Social Value, Inclusion and Capability, will deliver initiatives to embed inclusive practices and social procurement across major infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Director, Social Value & Inclusion, this role supports the North East Link Program, shaping industry practice, aligning with government frameworks, and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups. You will collaborate with delivery teams, industry partners, and the community to achieve sustainable social and commercial outcomes.

About You
  • Proven experience in social procurement, industry capability, or inclusion, preferably in infrastructure or construction.
  • Excellent collaborator and influencer, capable of building stakeholder relationships and driving cultural change.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced project environment and is passionate about delivering measurable social value.

This opportunity is a fixed-term position for up to 3 years.
