Humanities and Social Science Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Humanities and Social Science teacher to join our Secondary team at St. George Christian School.

The Role:

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum, assessment, standards, and reporting requirements defined by the relevant authority. You will be committed to providing a Biblically integrated curriculum, with an enthusiasm for training children in a thoroughly Christian worldview in every learning area.

We are looking for a Humanities and Social Science teacher with experience in teaching across Years 7-10. The ability to teach Business Management and Enterprise is desirable, as we offer courses in Geography, Modern History, Politics and Law, and Careers and Employability.

Key Requirements:

  • A deep commitment to your Christian faith and a willingness to demonstrate it in your daily life
  • Experience teaching Humanities and Social Sciences, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students, demonstrating exceptional communication and pastoral skills
  • Hold or obtain necessary registrations and checks, including TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check
