Lead Early Learning Professional

This key leadership role is a driving force behind the success of our centre, working in partnership with the Centre Director to achieve exceptional outcomes.

The successful candidate will be an experienced early learning professional who can lead by example and inspire their team to deliver high-quality care and education. You will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and be able to leverage your expertise to support the centre's goals.

As a senior member of the centre team, you will play a critical role in mentoring and developing the skills of your colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible experience for children.

In the absence of the Centre Director, you will be responsible for managing the centre, making decisions and taking ownership of its operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Centre Director to set and achieve centre goals
  • Provide guidance and support to centre staff, including mentoring and coaching
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve centre performance
  • Manage the centre in the absence of the Centre Director

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood or a related field
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in an early learning setting
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to apply it in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
