Job Description:

This role is focused on delivering high-quality Drawing Management System (DMS) services to internal and external stakeholders. The DMS Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of drawings in DMS, encompassing daily quality control, administration and processing of asset drawings and data into the system.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on quality control, with a keen eye for detail. They will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to articulate complex processes to a variety of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize and organize workloads to ensure deadlines are met. They will also be able to work effectively as a member of a team, identifying and proactively assisting team members to help deliver project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily DMS transactions, bookings, and publishing in accordance with standard DMS processes.
  2. Provide accurate advice and information to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with DMS processes and relevant engineering standards.
  3. Quality assure drawing information and associated data to ensure the accuracy of DMS.
  4. Report DMS faults and errors in a timely manner to all relevant parties and log them in accordance with DMS processes.
  5. Perform minor drawing changes using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in a Computer Aided Design (CAD) or DMS related discipline, or working experience in DMS, CAD, records management or document control is mandatory.
  • A tertiary qualification in construction, project management, signaling, or any relevant technical field is desirable.
