We are seeking experienced nurses to provide clinical support to our team at Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home in Mandurah. This facility offers a warm and welcoming environment, with landscaped gardens and a personalised memory support area.

As a nurse, you will be responsible for clinical care and case management. You will also supervise and direct nursing and care staff, providing leadership and guidance.

These roles are offered on a casual basis to provide support during periods of leave or heavy workload, as well as the upcoming holiday period.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supervise and direct enrolled nurses and care workers, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records, meeting accreditation standards and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior nursing staff, medical staff, and allied health staff to ensure effective care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment, preferably with gerontology expertise
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to uphold the values of empathy, compassion, and respect for older adults
