We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Development and Support Analyst to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 3 support for a wide range of applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure operational readiness and stability of new system changes.
- Develop and maintain operational and system documentation to enable effective maintenance and support of applications.
- Conduct system maintenance, including implementation of business recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity plans, to deliver system availability, reliability, stability, currency, and recoverability of applications.
- Engage with and influence development teams to ensure operational readiness dimensions meet required standards to maximise stability following system change.
- Conduct resolution of incidents and problems to ensure systems operate as required.
- Provide problem resolution assistance to Support Analyst as required.
- Proven experience in application support, preferably in a corporate IT environment.
- Experience in a Windows Server environment and knowledge of SSL certificates and Web Application Firewalls.
- Proficiency in building environments, deploying applications, and managing server operating infrastructures.
- SQL and PowerShell expertise.
- Knowledge of payments processing and experience with application development and support.
