Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our digital agency, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of mobile and web applications.

About the Role

This is a mid-level position that requires previous experience as a QA Manual Test Analyst in the IT industry with a strong QA foundation. You will work closely with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze functional specifications for web and mobile applications and create test cases.
  • Write test cases for approved test scenarios and execute them to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Raise identified defects in JIRA as per existing template and work with developers to resolve them.
  • Perform BVT / Regression Testing after deployments and support during Production deployments.
  • Update Test Summary Report and assist QA Manager with Test Reporting task.
Requirements
  • Previous Digital Agency experience
  • Proven career experience as a QA Manual Test Analyst in IT industry with strong QA foundation
  • Experience with responsive web testing (using Browserstack or similar)
  • Experience with mobile application testing
  • Experience in any CMS
  • Prior experience in Design / UI validation
  • Ability to work in a waterfall or agile methodology
  • Ability to smoke test a solution to highlight any critical issues
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with project managers and clients
