About the Role

McConnell Dowell Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Commissioning Manager to join our team at The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro project, located 270km northwest of Townsville. This challenging role will play a vital part in the successful completion of a project that is delivering Australia's first pumped hydro power station in over 40 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile project with a positive impact on people's lives. As a Project Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering E&I commissioning activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in project engineering, construction, and commissioning, preferably in process plants or power station construction.
  • A strong understanding of OHSQ and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of delivering quality work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
