The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Engineer - Commissioning to join our team at The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro project in northwest Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning activities for the power station's electrical and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the E&I commissioning program to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Develop and implement commissioning methodologies, management plans, inspection test plans and relevant documentation.
- Commission and performance optimise various elements of the mechanical and electrical fit out.
- Collaborate with Managers and Engineers to implement and coordinate the Project Management Plan.
- Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in project engineering, construction and commissioning. Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering are essential, with experience in process plants or power station construction desirable. Strong attention to detail, trouble shooting ability and excellent communication skills are also required.
