Leading Bar Team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated leader to join our team as a Bar Team Leader. In this pivotal role, you will demonstrate leadership by example and uphold service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and set the tone for exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members to ensure they meet high standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and implement effective stock rotation strategies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that adheres to WHS regulations.
  • Monitor staff working hours with trade levels and collaborate with Duty Managers.
  • Supervise staff performance and skill level, providing constructive feedback where needed.
  • Deliver exceptional service to members and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Provide efficient and secure cash handling services, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current QLD RSA Certificate
  • Current QLD RSG Certificate
  • TAB Certificate & Experience
  • Previous leadership/supervisor experience in a bar
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of bar products
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliability and flexibility to work varied night and weekend shifts, including public holidays
