About the RoleThis is a fantastic chance to take on a leadership role and oversee the delivery of major capital projects across multiple manufacturing facilities in VIC, NSW, SA, and TAS.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead large-scale capital projects from scoping through to commissioning, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and operational performance are met or exceeded.
- Develop and manage annual capital expenditure programs and provide technical direction to engineering and maintenance teams across several sites.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable engineering solutions to reduce downtime, ensuring legislative compliance across multi-state operations.
- Builtd strong relationships with site teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree (preferably with relevant experience).
- Proven track record of managing capital projects in a food or FMCG manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of capital expenditure planning, cost control, WHS legislation, and continuous improvement tools.
- High-level problem-solving, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
