Capital Project Lawyer

Melbourne Airport is embarking on a major growth journey with significant infrastructure projects shaping the future of aviation and travel.
We are seeking an attorney to support this transformation, reporting directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.
- Provide timely and practical legal assistance to capital projects teams, ensuring delivery of world-class infrastructure while managing risk and delivering commercially sound outcomes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal providers to deliver advice and documentation across various legal areas, with a strong focus on construction contracts and commercial agreements.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of post-admission experience in construction and commercial contracts, preferably gained on large capital or infrastructure projects.
Key skills include a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills, and an interest in developing and improving legal processes, tools, and education across the business.
