Job Overview

Liquidity Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Liquidity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Treasury team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day measurement, analysis, and reporting of the Bank's liquidity position and meeting regulatory requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team with measurement, analysis, and reporting of the Bank's liquidity position.
  • Developing and enhancing quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise benefits for all areas of the Bank.
  • Data Analysis - Liquidity data mining and data analysis.
  • Supporting other team functions including system architecture and design, data extraction and utilization.
  • Continuously learning and developing skills through on-the-job training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in coding, particularly R and/or SQL.
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in complex formulas and multi-sheet/multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded.
  • Quantitative analytical capability and previous Treasury experience, especially Liquidity Risk, are highly valued.
  • A collaborative approach and drive to learn and grow.
