Job Title: Senior Advisor, Recovery and Resilience
This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to work collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders to support community-led recovery from emergencies.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for emergency response and recovery.
- Collaborate with government agencies, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations to achieve shared goals.
- Provide strategic advice and support to senior leaders on emergency management and recovery initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of policy and procedures for emergency response and recovery.
- Assist with planning and coordination activities for emergency response and recovery efforts.
- Contribute to ministerial and parliamentary processes, providing advice on current and emerging issues and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience working in emergency management, policy development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
